Legacy in the Making

Founded by father-and-son team Hal and Yiannes Einhorn, Grid Group is built on a foundation of thoughtful design, technical expertise, and uncompromising attention to detail.

A registered architect, Hal Einhorn brings decades of design experience and a deep understanding of New York City’s residential architecture. His extensive career in the home inspection industry gave him a uniquely practical perspective on how buildings are designed, constructed, and ultimately experienced—understanding not only what makes a home beautiful, but what makes it perform and endure.

Yiannes began his career alongside Hal, developing an early appreciation for the details and disciplines that distinguish exceptional construction. He later brought that same rigorous eye to the development of more than $1 billion in new residential projects across New York City’s five boroughs.

Together, Hal and Yiannes combine architectural vision with firsthand construction knowledge and a meticulous understanding of how a home comes together. That perspective informs every stage of the development process, from the earliest design decisions through construction and completion, resulting in homes that are thoughtfully conceived, precisely executed, and built to endure.

Yiannes Einhorn

Yiannes leads the acquisition, design, and construction of Grid Group’s projects. His hands-on approach and exceptionally high standards shape every aspect of the work, helping drive Grid Group’s elevated level of quality and craftsmanship in the new development market.

Managing Principal

Hal Einhorn

Hal brings more than 50 years of experience as a licensed architect in the New York City property market. Beginning his development career in the 1970s, he has worked on hundreds of successful projects throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan, bringing decades of architectural and development expertise to Grid Group.

Principal, AIA

Raman Gardner

With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry and a background in planning and executive management, Raman brings extensive experience in managing complex development projects. He oversees project implementation and staffing, helping ensure that each development moves efficiently from inception through completion.

Director of Development

Belinda Stuart

Drawing on her experience in architectural practices in New York and New Zealand, Belinda leads the architectural execution of Grid Group projects from conception through construction administration. She guides the company’s creative vision and coordinates closely with design teams and project stakeholders throughout the process.

Director of Architecture

Philip Sun

Philip oversees Grid Group’s assets and is responsible for financial control, banking, reporting, and accounting across all projects. He also plays an important role in sourcing and procurement, using his market knowledge and relationships to identify and secure materials, products, and services that meet Grid Group’s standards for quality and value.

Director of Finance

Brian Caffrey

As a registered architect, Brian serves as architect of record for Grid Group’s in-house projects, overseeing architectural execution and documentation from design through construction. His extensive experience working with New York City agencies and regulatory authorities enables him to navigate the approval and permitting process effectively, helping move projects forward efficiently and strategically.

Forbes Stuart

Drawing on his experience in construction and land development, Forbes leads the construction of Grid Group’s ground-up buildings. He manages the process from preconstruction through completion, coordinating teams, trades, and execution to ensure that each project is delivered to Grid Group’s standards for quality and craftsmanship.
